Model 98 for Key Marking
The heavy-duty construction of the Model 98 provides an ideal method for marking keys with a hammer for uniform depth and alignment, and is adaptable to meet your marking needs.
Operation is simple–pull down the handle and strike the shank with a hammer. Because the marking device is held squarely to the part, the stamping is properly aligned allowing for uniform depth. An “L” Gauge is standard and can be moved “in” or “out” to provide a locating point for universal key positioning. The Model 98 is also compatible with many of our nameplate and strip holders, along with our universal key and custom nests.
