Operation
The operator pulls down the handle and strikes the shank with a hammer. Because the marking device is held squarely to the part, the stamping is properly aligned allowing for uniform depth. The Model 98 arm is hinged so that the operator can quickly view the stamping sequence. An “L” Gauge is standard and can be moved “in” or “out”, to provide a locating point. The table area is 4″ x 7.” The available height under the arm is 3-7/8.”
