Tailored Solutions for Unique Requirements: One of our recent projects involved creating a custom holding fixture for marking the inside diameter (ID) of a piece of pipe. The customer needed to mark pipes with IDs ranging from 4″ to 8″. To address this requirement, we designed a block to hold the stamp, which was then mounted on a heat-treated steel shank with a handle. This setup allowed the block to fit snugly within the pipe’s diameter, ensuring consistent marking distance from the edge regardless of the pipe size.

Innovative Design for Optimal Performance: The large shank provides the operator with the necessary leverage to push against the pipe’s diameter and move the fixture until the stamp is correctly positioned on the ID. Once in place, a hammer blow creates the impression, resulting in precise and consistent markings.
